Many ATV manufacturers use reusable wooden crates and steel frames to ship their products to large retailers and dealers. With decentralized locations for pick up, awkward and heavy packaging and irregular pick up schedules, recovery of reusable packaging can be both time consuming and costly.
Not to mention the opportunity still out there for other products, including UTVs, which are still shipped in disposable packaging.
For both of these problems, Reusability is here to help. With 20+ years in asset management, Reusability provides the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to design, manage, and recover reusable packaging.
Leave it to the experts to manage your reusable packaging programs so you can do what you do best.
Our national network of repacking centers offers a complete solution for manufacturers looking to create a more efficient supply chain. Managing 100,000+ of our own assets, we’ve completed over 10,000,000 recoveries.
Since 1997, Reusability has been recovering owned nursery rack assets from The Home Depot. After seeing success for over a decade, we were introduced to a lawn-tractor manufacturer to simplify their reusable packaging and asset management.
Utilizing our existing network, we piloted a reusable metal crate program for tractors in 2007. We not only assisted in the design of the packaging but managed the asset recovery and reverse logistics for these crates, consolidating from retailers and dealers to our recovery facilities. After scanning and reporting OS&D, crates were shipped back to the lawn tractor manufacturer for reuse.
We currently manage assets at 10,000+ retailers throughout the country. With over 40 strategic recovery locations, we can support pick-ups both at your large or small retailers and dealers. No matter the volume, we have the scale to support you.
As units are sold, reusable crates are collapsed and stacked in a storage unit, making it easy for us to pick up at times that are convenient for the manufacturer and dealer.
We know that UTVs are bigger and heavier and thus require different reusable packaging from ATVs. Our solution enables manufacturers to develop reusable packaging quickly and pilot success for growing product lines, such as UTV.
